About this camp: The project aims to foster cultural exchange through engaging workshops on Japanese culture, providing an immersive experience for participants in schools, residential facilities, and community spaces. It promotes mutual understanding by showcasing traditional arts, cuisine, and language, while emphasizing inclusivity and accessibility for diverse audiences.
Work: – Engage in workshops on Japanese culture with young Japanese participants.- Foster cultural exchange through interactive sessions and dialogue.- Target diverse audiences including students and residents of care homes.- Promote cultural appreciation and tolerance among different backgrounds.- Participate in recovery tasks for the community, such as rebuilding apiaries.
Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in an 80 m2 ground floor flat with bunkbeds.- A shared kitchen will allow volunteers to cook under camp leaders’ guidance.- No need to bring bedding essentials, but a sleeping bag sheet is recommended.
Leisure Activities: – Located in Alfas del Pi, close to Benidorm with an international community.- Opportunities to interact and socialize with locals, especially children and seniors.- Access to beautiful Mediterranean countryside and hiking opportunities.
