About this camp: During the project weeks, volunteers will seal ditches to protect the fragile moor vegetation by transporting materials and compacting them into the ditches. The work is hands-on and requires teamwork while ensuring minimal damage to the environment, as volunteers will only move on wooden walkways they construct themselves.
Work: – Seal ditches to protect the moor.- Transport materials using wheelbarrows and wooden planks.- Compact materials directly into the ditches.- Cut down and remove shrubs and young trees.- Ensure safe movement on self-built wooden walkways.
Accommodation and Food: – Comfortable holiday home with 20 beds including shared rooms.- Features group rooms, a winter garden, a kitchen, and outdoor facilities.- Self-catering with group meal preparation.
Leisure Activities: – Wetland restoration at Mosbrucher Weiher.- Located in the Eifel region of Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.- Near the famous racetrack Nrburgring.
