About this camp: Together with two archaeologists from the Brandenburg State Office for Monument Preservation and the State Archaeological Museum, we will carry out archaeological excavations at the site of a former prisoner barracks. The work is expected to be strenuous and will take place without cover from the sun.




Work: – Conduct archaeological excavations at a former prisoner barracks.- Collaborate with archaeologists from the Brandenburg State Office for Monument Preservation.- Engage in strenuous physical work outdoors.- Follow safety protocols in sun exposure.- Document findings for historical preservation.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay at the International Youth Meeting Center in shared rooms.- Enjoy three meals provided by the canteen.- Request vegetarian and vegan meal options in advance.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the wooded lake and river landscape of Frstenberg/Havel.- Organize leisure activities such as swimming, canoeing, or cycling.- Plan day trips to Berlin or the Baltic Sea.
