About this camp: Join us for an adventure dedicated to making a mountain refuge accessible to all! Located in the Vercors Regional Natural Park, this project focuses on enhancing the communal refuge in Esparron by constructing a covered access ramp for individuals with reduced mobility and an emergency exit. Participants will engage in craftsmanship and collective efforts to improve the refuge’s infrastructure while enjoying the stunning natural surroundings.
Work: – Build a covered access ramp for people with reduced mobility.- Create an emergency exit for safety.- Install dry toilets for the bivouac if time permits.- Develop a cozy fire area with environmentally friendly features.- Participate in a collective project that combines craftsmanship and community engagement.
Accommodation and Food: – First week spent in individual tents outside the refuge with access to sanitary facilities and kitchen.- Second week housed inside the refuge in dormitory-style arrangements.- Communal living with shared responsibilities for cooking and cleaning, focusing on local and vegetarian food.
Leisure Activities: – Explore numerous hiking trails with breathtaking views of the Vercors and Dvoluy mountains.- Participate in kayaking activities on surrounding rivers.- Engage in discussions with local residents and visit heritage sites to understand local conservation issues.
