About this camp: Take part in the protection of the Auga peat bog at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, a unique mosaic of ecosystems. Volunteers will engage in tasks such as thermal brush-cutting, small-scale logging, and removal of invasive species, while enjoying accommodations in individual tents and communal living areas.




Work: – Discover local fauna and flora.- Conduct thermal brush-cutting.- Engage in small-scale logging.- Remove invasive exotic plant species.- Construct pontoons and wooden signs for awareness.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodations in individual tents with sanitary facilities and a communal kitchen.- Refurbished barn with modern amenities for meals and activities.- Collective meal preparation with a focus on local, healthy, vegetarian produce.



Leisure Activities: – Explore small mountain villages and their gastronomic specialties.- Experience nearby hiking trails in the Ossau valley.- Observe nature, including birds and endemic flowers, on footpaths in the peat bog.
