About this camp: Volunteers at the CYA-Learning Center (CLC) play a vital role in creating meaningful learning experiences and fostering community development through diverse activities that bridge educational gaps for children and teenagers. By teaching essential skills, developing programs, engaging in hands-on projects, and fostering cultural exchange, volunteers contribute significantly to the community while gaining invaluable experiences themselves.




Work: – Teach English and Essential Skills to improve students’ language abilities and life skills.- Develop and Implement creative curricula and workshops.- Engage in Hands-On Projects like vegetable gardening and classroom renovations.- Foster Cultural Exchange by sharing knowledge and learning from local traditions.- Expand community opportunities while gaining personal growth and experience.



Accommodation and Food: – Stay at the volunteer house with simple yet comfortable accommodations and essential amenities.- Meals are prepared by volunteers on a rotational basis, featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients from local markets.- The arrangement fosters teamwork, cultural immersion, and a sense of community.



Leisure Activities: – Explore nearby tourist attractions like Teuk Chhou and Bokor National Park during free time.- Engage with local people, teenagers, and children to foster meaningful connections.- Organize fun and creative community activities for cultural exchange and personal growth.
