About this camp: The project involves assisting with teaching subjects such as Creative Arts, English, and Basic Mathematics in a nursery school, helping children with homework, and engaging in general cleaning and maintenance of the project area. Volunteers will also participate in extra-curricular activities, health education, mentorship programs, and farm work for environmental conservation.
Work: – Assist with teaching Creative Arts, English, and Basic Mathematics in the nursery school- Help children with their homework- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the project area- Plan and engage kids in extra-curricular activities like sports and games- Participate in farm work including planting and tree planting for environmental conservation
Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation is at a shared house close to the project- Volunteers should bring their own sleeping mat, mosquito net, and sleeping bag- Food will be provided
Leisure Activities: – Volunteers can visit Lake Victoria in Kisumu- Explore Kakamega Rain Forest- Engage in various recreational and educational activities
