About this camp: Volunteers will assist in co-coordinating and caring for patients, including taking samples and providing emotional support. They will also participate in community outreach activities and help teach in a nearby school.




Work: – Assisting in co-coordinating and taking care of patients.- Taking patients’ samples, pulses, and temperature information.- Preparing and updating records in the hospital.- Assisting in nursing patients in the inpatient wards.- Providing advice and emotional support to patients.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will be accommodated in a host family/guest room in Nyakoe Shopping Center.- Food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided, using locally available foodstuffs.- Volunteers will need to commute to the project at a cost of KES 40 per day.



Leisure Activities: – Community outreach activities involving visiting elderly people to provide free medication.- Assisting in cleaning the hospital.- Teaching in a nearby school.
