About this camp: The workcamp involves assisting in meal preparation, serving children, and ensuring hygiene at a care center. Volunteers will also help with homework, organize sports and extracurricular activities, and assist with environmental initiatives at a nearby school. Accommodations are provided by a host family, and volunteers can enjoy leisure activities in the coastal region.




Work: – Assisting in the preparation of meals and ensuring the center is clean.- Helping children with their homework and providing support to boarding children.- Developing and facilitating age-appropriate sports activities for leisure.- Planning and facilitating extracurricular activities like arts and crafts.- Coordinating with teachers to assist in subjects such as English and Mathematics.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay with a host family within the project site.- The host family will provide meals for the volunteers.- Accommodations are located in a supportive and engaging environment.



Leisure Activities: – The project is located in the coastal region, allowing for beach visits.- Volunteers can explore Ukunda town and the coastal forest.- Opportunities to visit Shimba Hills National Park and Mombasa town are available.
