About this camp: Volunteers will work in the Model Farm, engaging in activities such as tilling, planting, weeding, and harvesting crops while also assisting in teaching kindergarten pupils and training youth in computer skills. They will support maintenance activities at the center and help organize games for children, all while promoting the center’s programs.




Work: – Work in the Model Farm: tilling, planting, weeding, and harvesting crops.- Teach basic subjects like English and Creative Arts to kindergarten pupils.- Train youth in computer skills at the ICT center.- Organize games and extra-curricular activities for children.- Assist in maintenance tasks at the center, including cleaning and landscaping.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in a house on the project site with water and electricity.- Each volunteer must bring a sleeping bag for comfort.- Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided using locally available foodstuffs.



Leisure Activities: – Visit Kisumu city, located about 30km from Ahero Resource Centre.- Enjoy a boat ride at the famous Lake Victoria.- Participate in local cultural and recreational activities.
