About this camp: The workcamp focuses on removing invasive plants and maintaining mountain pastures to support fragile ecosystems that are home to sensitive species like black grouse and deer. Volunteers will engage in additional activities during rainy days to assist with the management of Alpes Vivantes.
Work: – Remove invasive plants such as green alders (Alnus viridis).- Maintain mountain pastures to support local wildlife.- Participate in activities that promote nature conservation.- Engage in educational projects during inclement weather.- Contribute to the preservation of fragile ecosystems.
Accommodation and Food: – Accommodated in a cottage at 1800 m.a.s.l., accessible by train.- Cottage includes a fitted kitchen, warm shower, and toilets, but lacks Wi-Fi.- Volunteers must bring a sleeping bag and bed sheet (90x190cm) and will cook their own meals.
