About this camp: During your stay, you will gain insights into horticulture, particularly alpine gardening, while engaging in nature conservation efforts by controlling invasive Neophytes. Volunteers will perform physically demanding tasks such as building pathways, preparing compost, and maintaining garden grounds at an altitude of 1864m above sea level.
Work: – Gain insight into horticulture, focusing on alpine gardening.- Control and manage invasive Neophytes through weeding.- Build pathways and prepare compost for future plants.- Maintain garden grounds and prepare flower-beds.- Complete physically demanding tasks, including carrying heavy items.
Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation in shared or single rooms, with separate beds provided.- Shared toilets and showers are available on the floor.- WiFi is accessible, and a washing machine is available for 3 CHF per load.
