About this camp: This work camp focuses on the recovery of old paths in the Pyrenees, where participants will engage in various preservation and conservation activities while learning about the local culture and history. Key tasks include road clearing, stone removal, rebuilding dry stone walls, improving signage, and maintaining paved sections.




Work: – Road clearing to ensure paths are accessible.- Removing stones to maintain walkable roadways.- Rebuilding sections of dry stone walls that have collapsed.- Enhancing path signage with paint according to park guidelines.- Repairing worn cobbled sections of trails.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation is at a campsite in La Solana, near Vilamur, with tents provided for four participants each.- Volunteers manage their meals in rotating groups, preparing warm meals typically for lunch and dinner.- Basic facilities include a dry toilet and a cold-water shower, with no Wi-Fi available.



Leisure Activities: – Educational talks about the biodiversity and trails of Parc de l’Alt Pirineu.- Visits to historical Civil War bunkers and medieval sites.- Thematic tours of local mills and excursions to nearby towns and landscapes.
