About this camp: The purpose of this work camp is to participate in the recovery of old paths while learning about the history, culture, and nature of the Pyrenees. Activities will include road clearing, stone removal, dry stone wall reconstruction, signage improvement, and maintenance of paved sections.




Work: – Road clearing to ensure paths are passable.- Remove fallen stones from the roads.- Rebuild sections of dry stone walls that are easily repairable.- Improve path signage with paint as per park instructions.- Maintain cobbled sections of trails.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation is in tents at a campsite called ‘La Solana’ near Vilamur.- Volunteers will cook their own meals and maintain the campsite.- Basic facilities include a dry toilet and a cold water shower, and no Wi-Fi is available.



Leisure Activities: – Educational talks about the park’s biodiversity and trails.- Visit to Civil War bunkers near the camp.- Guided tours of historical sites and mills in the area.
