About this camp: International and local volunteers will help mow steep meadows and remove bushes from dry rocky grasslands that are threatened to be overgrown by bushes and trees, contributing actively to preserve endangered species. The work will be physical, lasting about 5 – 6 hours every day, and will involve staying in two different basic accommodations: tents in the first week and simple shared group accommodation in the second week.
Work: – Assist in mowing steep meadows.- Remove bushes from dry rocky grasslands.- Contribute to the preservation of endangered species.- Engage in physical work activities such as raking and cutting bushes.- Work for approximately 5 – 6 hours daily.
Accommodation and Food: – First week accommodations will be in tents at Hart-Aschendorf.- Second week accommodations will be in simple shared group accommodation at Poysdorf.- Participants must bring their own tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, and pillow for the first week.
Leisure Activities: – Hart-Aschendorf and Poysdorf are small villages in northeast Austria.- The campsites are near the common border of Austria with the Czech Republic and Slovakia.- The area features beautiful floodplains formed by the rivers Dyje and Morava.
