About this camp: The Mre Trsa de Calcutta home in Kpalim partners with ASTOVOT to provide care for poor and abandoned patients. This volunteer workcamp focuses on improving residents’ well-being through companionship, entertainment, and tailored activities that address their physical and mental health needs.




Work: – Offer moral support and companionship to residents.- Assist residents with daily tasks and personal organization.- Organize creative and recreational workshops to stimulate creativity.- Participate in cleaning and maintenance of the center.- Engage in active listening and social activities to combat loneliness.



Accommodation and Food: – Accommodation is simple with shared rooms for 3-4 volunteers.- Volunteers prepare their own meals, with a mix of local and organic products.- Access to drinking water is available, but electricity and Internet may be limited.



Leisure Activities: – Explore the natural beauty of Kpalim, including wooded hills and valleys.- Engage in cultural encounters and festive outings with locals.- Participate in group excursions to regional tourist attractions on weekends.
