About this camp: This summer, ASTOVOT is launching a volunteer workcamp focusing on agro-ecology and tree nurseries on its small farm in Kpalim. The project aims to promote sustainable agriculture practices by involving participants in activities related to natural resource management and plant production while raising awareness of agroecology.




Work: – Raising awareness of agroecology and sustainable farming practices- Setting up and managing a nursery for young plants- Learning and applying sustainable farming techniques- Composting and organic waste management- Organising awareness-raising sessions on agroecology benefits



Accommodation and Food: – Simple accommodation in shared rooms of three or four- Volunteers prepare their own meals with a mix of local and organic products- Access to a variety of tropical fruits available on site



Leisure Activities: – Discovery walks and hikes to explore local culture- Cultural encounters with local people- Group excursions to regional tourist sites during weekends
