About this camp: From Spring to Autumn, the electronic Babboe coffee bike provides free refreshments and food, using surplus food from wholesalers prepared by Leinikki. Volunteers will engage in a children’s summer camp, playing games and crafting with kids aged 7-11, while also interacting with the community.




Work: – Volunteers provide free refreshments using an electronic coffee bike.- They engage with local people to foster community connections.- Volunteers participate in a summer camp for children, playing games and doing crafts.- They take part in outdoor activities, including football and games.- Volunteers will ride the coffee bike for interactions and refreshments.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers sleep in double rooms at Leinikki.- The accommodation includes a common area with sofas, toilets, and showers.- There is a large kitchen area available for volunteers to prepare food.



Leisure Activities: – Simonkyla is close to Tikkurila in Vantaa and adjacent to Helsinki, offering cultural attractions.- A forest with gym equipment is nearby, alongside a national park with a lake for swimming and kayaking.- Volunteers can borrow bicycles to explore the area during their stay.
