About this camp: Volunteers at the Angkor Thom Community Tourism project can engage in various activities, including promoting traditional handicrafts, supporting community kindergarten education, participating in eco-tourism initiatives, and facilitating cultural exchange activities. These activities provide volunteers with a chance to make a lasting impact on the community while deepening their understanding of Cambodia’s heritage and culture.




Work: – Helping local artisans produce and promote traditional handicrafts.- Organizing educational games and teaching English to local children.- Participating in environmental conservation efforts, such as cleaning campaigns.- Facilitating cultural exchange sessions to foster mutual understanding.- Engaging in activities that promote sustainable tourism practices.



Accommodation and Food: – Volunteers will stay in a shared house of the host family equipped with basic amenities.- Each volunteer will receive a mattress, pillow, blanket, and mosquito net.- Meals will be prepared by a local chef, with volunteers assisting in kitchen tasks.



Leisure Activities: – Exploring Siem Reap’s culture by visiting Angkor Wat and local markets.- Relaxing with activities like cycling and boat trips on Tonle Sap Lake.- Participating in social events at the center, such as movie nights.
